Lion’s Head (Pub, 3085 Robie), visited October 14. We
stopped by for the Burger Week offering – the Peter Pretzel Pickled Pepper
Eater, which boasted Angus beef, bacon, pineapple-jalapeno chutney, onion rings
and a bunch of other stuff, topped with a cream cheese-stuffed bacon-wrapped
jalapeno. It was extremely busy, but it all worked well together. We only wish
it had been a full jalapeno popper wrapped in bacon, as opposed to just a
sliver. Verdict: 4/5 (80%) chance of returning.
