After taking part in Burger Week’s first runs in 2013 and 2014, we were hungry for more in 2020.
Usually held much earlier in the year, it was bumped to October 22-31 due to pandemic restrictions (it still feels so weird to type that). Thanks to the ongoing success of the Atlantic Bubble (it’s weird to type that, too!), Burger Week 2020 was rescheduled for the fall, with well over 100 local eateries taking part.
We ended up sampling nine different burgers across the city. It was a great way to sample a variety of offerings, some from places we’ve never visited before. We focused primarily on the $6 burgers, knocking off seven of our nine (to go) during two mini marathons.
We’re still digesting our thoughts (and all of that beef!), and we’ll post individual more detailed reviews over the coming weeks. To be clear, all nine burgers were good, and we’d certainly eat them all again. For now, here’s a ranking of our favourites from Burger Week 2020:

#1 - The Out-'N'-In Jughead @ Battery Park
#2 - The Jagged Little Dill @ Freeman’s Little New York
