Bulwark Cider House (Pub, 1518 Dresden), visited March 4. We stopped by to try out a couple of Dine Around specials. First off, what’s not to like about soft pretzels with jalapeño cheese and roasted red pepper dips? We continued are carbo-load with a couple of flatbread pizzas – a Huntsman with a mix of meats and a hint of honey, plus a Pesto with chicken, artichokes and pumpkin seeds. The former was hearty and tasty, while the latter was…interesting. It didn’t exactly scream “pizza” but it was still tasty. Overall, we enjoyed the vibe of the place, and will be back. Verdict: 4.5/5 (90%) chance of returning.
