HopYard Beer Bar (Pub, 2103 Gottingen), visited February 2. This Dine Around special was too good to pass up – four mains, two drinks and a dessert for $50? Yes please! We tried the Pork & Chive Fry (kinda like a Vietnamese poutine), the Braised Beef Gnocchi (mind-poppingly fantastic), the tacos (pulled pork, we think – very good!) and the BBQ Rice Bowl (which was a little too busy, but still alright). Add some chocolate cake and that makes one heck of a meal! Verdict: 4.5/5 (90%) chance of returning.
