Johnny’s Snack Bar (Diner, 6204 Almon), visited March 17. What you see is what you get. It ain’t fancy, and doesn’t pretend to be. The only thing that’s changed over the last 30 years is the prices. Their “specialty” is a Double Decker – basically a ham and cheese version of a club sandwich without the bacon. The Cheeseburger Deluxe was a basic cheeseburger with relish and mustard, nothing else. Both were fine. In short, it is what it is. Verdict: 3/5 (60%) chance of returning.
