Big Al’s Pizza (Pizza, 2320 Gottingen), visited August 14. We had to work especially hard to get to this place – not because it’s inconveniently located, but because its hours are frustratingly limited. They appear to only be open from 11am-5am Monday to Friday and closed on the weekend. Seriously, we whiffed three times and had to make a special trip at lunch on a work day just to give it a try. Was it worth the wait? Not really. It’s pretty cheap and pretty big, but the taste was just average. Now we know, at least. Verdict: 2/5 (40%) chance of returning (unless they adjust their hours).
