Fuego Pizzeria & Grill (Italian, 4499 Highway 14, Windsor), visited August 9. Located at Bent Ridge Winery, it’s a hidden gem surrounded by lush scenery, smack dab in the middle of an orchard and just a short hop from Ski Martock. The spinach salad was like a dessert, with a delightful blueberry vinaigrette, berries, candied pecans and goat cheese, but perhaps a little small. The Avalanche pizza had a bit of a kick with a spicy house-made chorizo, with thin crust that was somehow still a little fluffy. Great stuff. Verdict: 4.5/5 (90%) chance of returning.
